Ashfaque EJ is an independent journalist with a postgraduate diploma in English Journalism from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi. Over his seven year independent media career, he traveled across the country, reporting on hate crimes, minority rights, gender and sexuality, environmental issues, fundamental rights violations, prison rights, and custodial torture.
