Aakansha is a dedicated environmentalist with diverse experience in natural resource management, biodiversity conservation, and just transition. She has worked extensively across grassroots development, policy research, academic research, and project management with reputed environmental NGOs like FES, iFOREST, and ATREE. She has led research in various projects focusing on socio-economic issues, gender, livelihoods, skilling, etc., while co-authoring several reports and policy papers. Her interest lies in working towards the intersection of gender and climate issues.
